The G-DRHS Girls lacrosse team romped past MountGreylock 15-6 in an MIAA Division 2 Central/West quarterfinal on Sunday, and faces off against arch rival Bromfield tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10 at Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton.

The quarterfinal matchup follows a regular season 10-8 loss to Bromfield. In last year’s semifinal, the Crusaders lost to Bromfield by a single point scored in the last few seconds of the game.

In Sunday’s game, Nicki Wilkinson scored 5 goals and made 5 assists. Sara Walsh notched up 4 goals and an assist. Sophia Irby and Alexa Stathis each scored 2 goals, and Maria Antonellis 4 saved four at the goal.

When the Crusaders wraps up its season, it will lose two seniors: Fiona Henry is going to BC, and Wilkinson is headed to Denver.
