Thomas Wyatt

Thomas E. Wyatt of Fitchburg, died on March 24, 2015 at his winter home in Spring Hill, Florida. He was born on the Williams farm in Groton Massachusetts on June 30, 1942, son of the late Alfred and Mary Williams Wyatt. He grew up in Groton and attended Groton High School. Tom worked at Hollingsworth & Vose Co. for 45 years. He loved his job, and rose through the ranks to become a consultant engineer and finally Plant Superintendent in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He especially enjoyed traveling to England to consult.

He was instrumental in helping restore the Williams Barn in Groton Massachusetts.

Tom is survived by his three siblings; Alfred Wyatt of W. Groton, Robert Wyatt of West Groton, and Sister Barbara Atherton of Little Rock, Arkansas. He leaves five children: Leo Wyatt of Pepperell, Teresa Delaney of Gardner, Sandra Norris of Lunenburg, Thomas Wyatt of Lunenburg, and Tobi Rose of Pepperell; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his significant other, Sandra Butz of Spring Hill, Florida.

Visiting hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, March 31 from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 1, at 11 a.m.
