The fireworks will go off around 9:15 p.m. according to organizers, but the fun begins at 6 p.m. with music by the Nashoba Valley Concert Band, Bob Wright, Matthew Rimkus and Cheryl Townsend, and DJ Pat Kiley.
Food vendors, also serving from 6 p.m. on, include the Groton Firefighters Association, Vesta Wood-Fried Pizza, and Rail Trail Ice Cream.
Organizer Patrick Kiley encouraged anyone who’s feeling stressed, angry, or just wants to hit a car with a sledge hammer to visit the Boy Scout’s Car Smash booth.
He also invited residents to visit the fireworks Facebook page for late-breaking information — www.facebook.com/grotonmafireworks .
The fireworks are underwritten by a grant from the Commissioners of Trust Funds.
