Sean was a graduate of Groton-Dunstable Regional High School, class of 2012. He was attending the University of Maine, Orono, as a sophomore.
Sean embraced his life with a passion and energy that never failed to endear him to all that knew him. Whether he was playing hockey; traveling with his family; playing with his best Irish dog, Bailey, or being with his many friends; Sean will quite simply be missed.
Sean is loved and survived by his older brother, Patrick, who wants Sean to know when the shadows fall, you do not walk alone, and that he will carry Sean’s laugh with him always.
He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Janet Mahoney of York, Maine, who taught Sean to never forget his shovel if he had to go to work. His maternal grandmother, Kappy Sprenger, of Bridgton, Maine, who taught Sean how to swim with the loons. And from his other family and friends they say: Gra go deo. Agus fagamid siud mar ata se — Love forever.
The family invites you to attend visiting hours at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton, on Sunday April 27, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. with a prayer service at 3 p.m.Related
