She was born in Boston on March 10, 1920, daughter of the late Francis and Effiejean Berry Streeter. She was the wife of the late Edward Ladley, who died in 1995. Although born in Boston, she spent most of her life in Melrose until she married Edward in 1938. A resident of Groton and Pepperell for 62 years, she raised her family and had deep roots in both communities and will be deeply missed.
Her survivors include her brother Francis Streeter; three children: Edward M. Ladley Jr., Cynthia Ladley White, and Richard A. Ladley; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
There will be no visiting hours. A private family funeral service will be held.
