Thelma Webber Crocker, 91, of Groton, passed away on January 8, 2014 at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer.

She was born in Revere, Massachusetts on November 15, 1922, daughter of the late Theodore and Sarah Parsons Webber. She grew up in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. Thelma worked at Hy Sil Wrapping Paper Company, where she met her husband, the late Everett Crocker. After her marriage, she made her home in Billerica for more than 40 years. She and moved to Groton’s Rivercourt Residences several years ago.

Mrs. Crocker enjoyed her summer residence in Wakefield, New Hampshire. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Billerica, Massachusetts and enjoyed bowling.

Her survivors include her children, Susan and her husband Roland Houde of Groton and Alan and his wife Elizabeth Crocker of Marbletown, New York; a sister-in–law Florence Webber of Medford; two grandchildren, Courtney Houde and Katelyn Houde; a great granddaughter, Acacia Mbugua; her dear friend, Annabelle Dyke; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Herbert Webber.

Visiting hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton, Massachusetts on Monday, January 13 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Union Congregational Church, 220 Main Street, Groton on Tuesday January 14 at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Groton Cemetery, Groton.
