Several thousand people from Groton and neighboring towns thronged the town’s annual fall festival Saturday, enjoying a grand buffet of foods, live music on stage, and a variety of demonstrations and other activities. About 170 groups, businesses, churches, and enterprises set up booths to spread their message or raise funds this year to an estimated crowd of 5,000-6,000 people throughout the day.
