It would be wonderful if you were able to carpool or walk/bike to the event. If driving please park on Wallace Road facing out; there are limited handicap parking spaces on Pepperell Road and Fitch’s Bridge Road.
If hiking or biking to the event, you may wish to join members of the Groton Trails Committee on one of two guided tours, a guided hike from the Hayes Woods Trailhead on Maple Street through the Johnston Parcel to the new Fitch’s Bridge, or a guided bike tour from the Groton Senior Center following Spencer Circle Road and the trail from Hill Street to Fitch’s Bridge. Both the Hike and the Bike are family friendly and will take about a half an hour through easy forested terrain. Both guided trips will start promptly at 12 noon.
