It’s officially “back to school” season in Groton — the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District has released its list of bus routes for the coming 2013-14 school year. The first days of school are two weeks away.

You can read or download the routes here:

If you have questions about the bus routes or stops, the district asks that you contact Dee Bus Service at 978 448-3322.

The first day of school for students in grades 1-9 is Wednesday, August 28. Students in grades 10-12 start the next day, on Thursday, August 29.

Kindergartners have a special bus introduction program scheduled for Wednesday, August 28. In a press release, the district explained that “Kindergarten parents will receive a letter from their child’s respective school regarding the bus introduction program scheduled for Wednesday, August 28. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact your child’s school office. The first official day of school for incoming Kindergarten students is Thursday, August 29, 2013.”

In the release, the district reminded parents and students to be at the bus stop five minutes before the estimated pick-up time, and also that times will vary during the first few weeks of school, as the routes are adjusted. Students who live on Route 119 and Route 40 will be picked up and dropped off as close to their house as possible.
