Join your watershed neighbors who are walking for wellness and learning about our local ecosystems along the Nashua River Rail Trail for a walk on Saturday, June 8th.
Mary Marro, Nashua River Watershed Association Environmental Education Director, will lead a 45 to 60 minute walk on from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.. We’ll look at plants along the trail, identify birds by sight and sound, and look for signs of wildlife as we walk. The Rail Trail is flat and paved; the walk is open to all ages. For the comfort of all, no dogs are allowed.
We’ll meet at the Station Avenue kiosk on the Trail in Groton. Google map and directions can be found at www.NashuaRiverWatershed.org. Pre-registration is encouraged for planning purposes. To pre-register, or for more information, please contact Mary Marro, at (978) 448-0299, or email MaryM@NashuaRiverWatershed.org.
