Where do river animals go in winter? Young scientists, ages 7 to 11, are invited to join the NRWA to explore “Rivers and Water in Winter†during the Nashua River Watershed Association’s Science Saturday on February 16, 2013, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., at the NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton. We’ll visit the Nashua River and look for answers to that question and more. We’ll do some indoor water experiments and figure out the physics of water. We’ll be investigating in both indoor and outdoor settings. The program is led by Mary Marro, NRWA’s Environmental Education Director. Science Saturday costs $25. Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, please contact Mary Marro, NRWA Environmental Education Director, at (978) 448-0299, or e-mail MaryM@NashuaRiverWatershed.org
. The NRWA is a non-profit environmental organization that depends on memberships for support.
