Lunch is a favorite activity for animal adventurers

The Groton Women’s Club is sponsoring a special luncheon with Animal Adventures next Wednesday, and inviting all seniors and grandchildren for a special vacation week treat.

The regular February Women’s Club lunch falls in the middle of school vacation week. For many seniors this is an opportunity to spend time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. So next week’s luncheon at the Senior Center on West Main Street in West Groton is an opportunity bring them along. The Women’s Club will treat us to sausage and spinach pasta casserole served with wedge salad, garlic bread, and lemon chiffon pie for dessert. A special kid-friendly meal is available for little guests.

Then, the afternoon’s entertainment will be a delight for both you and the kids! Animal Adventures, a traveling rescue zoo with an array of exotic animals will be on-site, providing an opportunity to learn about these animals and touch some as well.
