Town Clerk Michael Bouchard kicks off the 2013 spring political season Monday morning, when his office begins issuing nominating petitions to anyone interested in running for a host of local elective offices in the May 21, 2013 Annual Town Election. Seventeen seats on the Boards of Selectmen, Assessors, and Health; the Planning Board; district School Committee; and a number of other bodies are to be filled as incumbents’ three-year terms expire.
To make it onto the ballot, a candidate must collect the signatures of 49 registered voters before 5:00 p.m. on April 2.
