GD Booster Club Information

The Groton Dunstable Athletic Booster Club sends a thank you to all the athletes, coaches and parents for all their support in 2011-2012.  

 

We have been able to fund a variety of teams and athletes through your participation with our annual phonathon and concessions. The Boosters supports all teams at GDRHS in providing help with extra equipment, safety equipment, coaches’ training, student athlete training and college scholarships. Listed are items supported by Boosters in 2011-2012 from coaches’ requests:

  • Funding for the start of the Pep Band
  • Soccer/Basketball/Lacrosse/Hockey Program ads
  • Baseball Bats (Funded due to MIAA Regulation changes)
  • Tennis Team Wire String
  • XC gate
  • Ski Team Racing Bibs
  • Motivational Speaker and Clinic – basketball
  • Ice Hockey Gloves
  • Girls Lacrosse Equipment
  • Field Hockey Equipment
  • Golf Bags
  • MIAA replica trophies for Soccer and Hockey State Champs

We are always looking for student and parental help. If you are interested please come to our meetings held at the high school on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. The more involvement we have the more we can do for our teams and student athletes!

The Massachusetts Sibling Network invites you to learn about the sibling experience, strategies across the life span, research on the impact of disabilities on siblings, and the growing sibling movement. 

All GD SEPAC meetings are free and open to the public.  The GD Lecture Series is funded through the generosity of a grant from the The Groton Commissioners of Trust Funds.

Educatius International is looking for Host Families in Groton and Dunstable.

Educatius is currently accepting Host Family applications for the January 2013 school year. Educatius is actively seeking families that want to open their home to an international student. Host families are to provide a warm and supportive home and family environment, students should become part of your family.

Educatius offers a monthly stipend for each student
placed in their home, each family can host up to 2 students. This can be a positive and rewarding experience for everyone in your family. Hosting a student can provide you with amazing opportunities and lifelong friendships.

The NEAS&C Special Progress Report

is available online. The special progress report provides a comprehensive analysis of progress made toward the recommendations detailed in the 2011 Groton-Dunstable Regional High School NEAS&C Accreditation Report.  In addition, it is unique for the public to have the ability to examine such a comprehensive review of curriculum, facilities, staffing, technology, and budgetary items in a single document.
