
Carmen McHugh
Carmen spent most her life raising her daughters. She graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts to follow her dream of becoming an active sculptor.
She previously made her home in Willingboro, NJ where she was active at the Corpus Church and a member of the church’s “Women of Joy” group.
McHugh is survived by her husband, John McHugh of Groton; seven daughters, Maureen McHugh of Arlington, VA; Patricia McHugh of NY, NY; Catherine McHugh of NY, NY; Jean Weiss of Crozet, VA; Eileen McHugh of Groton, MA; Judith McHugh of Eugene, OR;, and Jacqueline Dent of San Carlos, CA.; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers and sisters Flore Trudeau of Putnam, CT; Robert Trudeau of Latham, NY; Jilbert Longchamp of Palmyra, NY; Lawrence Trudeau of Colchester, VT; Gaye Seaborn of Los Alamos, CA; and Susan Gero or Oroville, WA.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, Jan 28, 2013 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Worshipping at St. James Church, 13 St. James Ave., West Groton.
