There was quite a bit of scurrying in town this weekend as residents thronged area stores, collecting gifts and food for a holiday feast or two. Or three.
At Blood Farms on West Main Street in West Groton, there were crowds of people picking up meat, and especially long queues for the farm’s smoked hams. In the gallery above, Bo sniffs the deliciously scented air and observes the line of people picking up holiday hams Saturday.
noa gifts held a popular “pop-up” store at the Main Street Cafe on Sunday, December 23rd.
On Monday, Christmas Eve, Norma Garvin was collecting donations for the Salvation Army outside Donelan’s Supermarket on Main Street.
