Then on Wednesday, December 19 at noon, there’s the Groton Women’s Club Luncheon and a concert by the G-DRHS Select Chorus.
This free lunch is open to both men and women and is complements of the Groton Women’s Club. Enjoy Stuffed Shells in a meat sauce served with tossed salad, scali bread and raspberry sorbet with a chocolate cookie for dessert. If you think lunch sounds like a treat, wait until you hear about the afternoon’s entertainment. The high school’s Select Chorus will return to the senior center to put on a Holiday Show. Thank you to the Buckingham Bus Company for providing the transportation for the chorus members. The afternoon then finishes with the annual gift swap (optional). Anyone who wishes to bring in a new, wrapped gift, will be able to choose a different gift from under the tree. Gifts should be a value of approximately $5. Space is limited so call to register for this event.
