Carole Greenfield of Groton, recently was installed as president of the Northern New England Region of Hadassah, which encompasses 20 chapters and 5,000 women in northeastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Carole recently visited Israel for the first time as part of a presidents” mission and the Hadassah Centennial Convention in Jerusalem.

Greenfield is married to Tom and is a mother to two teenage daughters, Rachel and Emily. Carole is co-owner of AdventuRides, which offers short, scenic bicycle tours and rides throughout the area.

Founded in 1912, Hadassah, the Women”s Zionist Organization of America, is the largest women”s membership organization in the United States. With 330,000 members, Hadassah is entering its second century, growing its commitment to innovative and life-changing medical care and research, women”s empowerment, education, advocacy, philanthropy and building Jewish identity.

Greenfield recently visited Israel for the first time as part of a Presidents” Mission and the Hadassah Centennial Convention in Jerusalem.

Our brand new Sarah Wetsman Davidson Tower at our Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem, took my breath away. I am honored to represent a vibrant region full of passionate, intelligent and generous members.”
