Come and create natural decorations to make your home more festive during December at the Nashua River Watershed Association’s “Natural Winter Decorations†workshop on Saturday, December 8, 2012, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. The afternoon starts with a short nature walk to collect some natural items. Then we will create ornaments out of natural materials, demonstrate how to make a sparkle tree out of a deciduous branch, and create evergreen door decorations. You can bring natural materials from your yard if you like. This program is appropriate children of all ages and adults. The workshop will be held in the NRWA building on Main Street in Groton.
There is a fee of $6/person or $18/family for members of the NRWA and $8/person or $24/family for non-members. Pre-registration is required. To register, please contact Mary Marro, NRWA Education Director, at (978) 448-0299, or email marym@NashuaRiverWatershed.org.
The NRWA is a non-profit environmental organization that depends on memberships for support.
