The Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) invites young scientists to join us at our next Science Saturday program on December 1, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton. Science Saturday is for youth from all communities, ages 7 to 11. We learn about natural science in outdoor and indoor settings, conducting experiments that connect to weather, rivers, forests, wildlife, and more. Students will have a chance to create their own investigations as well.
Science Saturday is led by Mary Marro, NRWA’s Environmental Education Director. Mary is an Environmental Biology Scientist with hundreds of hours of experience working with youth of all ages. The fee for Science Saturday is $25. Pre-registration is required. To register, please contact Mary Marro, NRWA Environmental Education Director, at (978) 448-0299, or email MaryM@NashuaRiverWatershed.org.
