Several hundred of Groton’s youngest ghouls, princesses, zombies, and other bump-in-the-night creatures took to the slightly damp streets Sunday, for the annual Halloween Parade sponsored by the Florence Roche and Boutwell School PTAs. The kids and a lot of grown ups assembled at the old Prescott School building, marched down Main Street to Broadmeadow, and then to the Town Field for a party with a DJ, dance contest, games, prizes, giveaways, a balloon artist, face painting, snacks and refreshments.
