Zentangles is a new art form perfect for those who like to doodle. According to the Zentangle, web site, it “is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.”
Basically, Zentangling is filling in a simple object with black & white patterns. Mixed Media Zentangles adds color to your picture through paint. No prior artistic, zentangles, or painting experience is needed. Nancy Fillip, the instructor, will walk you through it step by step. Cost is only $45 for six weeks or pay as you go for $7.50 a class. Either way, supplies are included. Call the senior center for more information ator just show up for a class — Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. or Fridays at 11:00 a.m.
