Will Call Jake plays the Main Street Cafe Thursday
Will Call Jake, with Will Byler of Harvard on bass, with Groton’s Calli Scofidio on piano, and Jake Riggert on drums takes the stage Thursday October 18 at 7 p.m. at the Main Street Cafe’s acoustic cafe. In the three months that the three musicians have been playing together, they have already performed at several area venues, including Nara Park in Acton, Lawrence Academy, and the All Asia and Middle East in Cambridge. This is their first time together at Main Street Cafe (Scofidio has done two solo shows for the cafe’s acoustic evening).
Thursday night’s event will feature a mix of original compositions written by Scofidio, as well as a brand new song written by the band. Scofidio is a junior at Lawrence Academy, Riggert is a senior at Lawrence, and Byler is a freshman at Westfield State College.
The evening begins with dinner at 6:00 p.m., with music at 7:00, and is BYOB.
