Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. sharp, join members of the Groton Trails Committee on a guided hike visiting some of Groton’s high points. We will start out on the trails of Brooks Orchard, then hike to the top of Chestnut Hill, one of the two highest points in Groton, affording nice views. We will then continue on to enjoy the trails of the Groton Hills conservation area. Our hike will take about 1½ hours and is suitable for families with children. Dogs must be well behaved and leashed. Wear comfortable hiking shoes. The hike will be held unless it is very stormy. Meet for the hike at Orchard Lane and park by the side of the road.
