Meet The Expert On “Are Thyroid Nodules a Serious Health Problem?”

Nashoba Valley Medical Center is offering a “Meet the Expert” medical seminar on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the hospital. Presented by Roshney Jacob, MD, the seminar will focus on defining thyroid nodules and identifying their malignant potential. Dr. Jacob will discuss how nodules are evaluated and give a brief overview on the management of thyroid cancer.

Dr. Jacob is an endocrinologist at Nashoba Valley Medical Center’s Diabetes and Endocrine Center. She specializes in diabetes, metabolic disorders, and numerous endocrine issues including thyroid, pituitary and adrenal dysfunction.

“Meet the Expert” is a monthly program offered at Nashoba Valley Medical Center. All lectures are free and open to the general public.
