The Main Street Cafe’s Summer Concert Series pulled more than 200 people to the Town Field behind the library last Saturday to hear Elizabeth Lorre, The Rafters, and Back to the Garden celebrate a “Back to the 80s – bring your big hair!” afternoon and evening. Concert organizer Bob Wright said the attendance was a new record, for this, the series’ third season. Crowds have been steadily growing, Wright said, and “That shows Groton has a real appreciation for live music.”
The series continues through August each Saturday from 6-9 p.m.
