Murphy Insurance Agency Honored with Central Mass Family Business Award

The D. Francis Murphy Insurance Agency, headquartered in Hudson and with additional offices in Bolton, Groton, Harvard, Marlborough, Medway and Mendon, is a recipient of the 2012 Central Massachusetts Family Business Awards. Each year, the Worcester Business Journal celebrates the achievements of a select group of the region’s most successful family business firms.

Murphy Insurance and the other 2012 honorees were recognized at an awards ceremony on June 20th at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston. Murphy Insurance Agency is a family operated, independent agency founded in 1937. Murphy Insurance provides personal, business and financial insurance solutions to families and businesses across Massachusetts with the objective making insurance simple for its clients. The Agency is headquartered in Hudson, MA with additional offices in Bolton, Groton, Harvard, Marlborough, Mendon and Medway. It has received the prestigious Five Star Agency Designation conferred by the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents recognizing excellence. Only 29 out of 2,100 agencies in the Commonwealth have earned this designation.
