Grandparents’ Breakfast With the Groton Fire Department

Groton area grandparents and “greats” are invited to respond to an urgent alarm at the Groton Senior Center’s Grandparents’ Breakfast, a free breakfast and fire truck-filled outing for any out-of-school kids they’d like to treat to a fun morning. “Even your grown-up kids,” can come, according to Bethany Loveless spokesperson at the center. The event is planned for Thursday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m.

After breakfast, everyone can head outside to “touch a truck,” which means you’ll have the opportunity to check out one of the Groton Fire Department ladder trucks and some other equipment. Bring your camera and the staff will help you capture the day.

Thanks to the time and generosity of the Groton Pepperell Rotary Club, this breakfast is a free event.
