Nan Quintin and her daughter Amy shot these photos of a mature black bear and her two cubs Thursday (05/17/2012) morning as the bears crossed State Route 40 near Flavell Road. There have been numerous sightings of the trio by a number of residents who have posted updates to the Talk About Groton email list for several weeks.
