After her graduation, Joyce moved to Southern California to indulge her passion as a hair stylist in Pacific Palisades. She had the excitement of styling celebrities, and attending the Academy Awards. In the late 1960s she married, and shortly after settled in New England to raise a family.
Joyce was a talented painter whose generosity was evident in the gifts of portraits and landscapes she gave to her close friends and family members. Her other interests included antiquing, photography, and volunteering. Joyce’s true dedication was always to her children and in later years also her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, son Richard Norton of Andover, MA and daughter Tiffany and her husband Matthew Naughton of Dunstable, MA; brother Arthur H. Stoner Jr, of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Judith A. Irving of Chambersburg, PA and Cathy L. Clites of Walnut Bottom, PA; and two granddaughters, Madison and Mackenzie Naughton.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St. in Groton, MA, on Tuesday, January lOth at 10:00 a.m. Burial of ashes will follow at The Dunstable Central Cemetery.Related
