About 200 people watched Groton’s Christmas trees turn into heat and light on 12th Night 2012, as the Groton Fire Department supervised the town’s 9th seasonal bonfire. Although the bonfire was the main attraction, firefighters served snacks and hot drinks at the first snowless bonfire in memory.
