Groton’s Teenage Anxiety and Depression Solutions (TADS) is working with other area organizations on National Depression Screening Day, October 6, to offer free screenings for depression. In a joint effort with the New England Center for Mental Health and Littleton’s See A New Sun Foundation (SANS), TADS is sponsoring a free depression screening from 8:00 a.m. — 7:00 p.m. at New England Center for Mental Health, 119 Russell Street, Suite 30, Littleton, MA 01460. Walk-ins are welcome and there is no pre-registration required.
This free event is open to all ages including children, adolescents and adults.
Since 1991, National Depression Screening Day has allowed more than half a million people each year to be screened at no charge. This program offers people the opportunity to take an anonymous 10 minute questionnaire which assesses their risk for depression related mood disorders. If you believe you or a loved one may be suffering from depression, please join us on October 6th for a free screening performed by a professional clinician.
